The Bordentown Historical Society is in the 1740 Friends Meeting House which features rotating exhibits. Located within Historic Bordentown City, visitors are welcome to take a self-guided walking tour to see many historic homes including the Francis Hopkinson House, Thomas Paine’s House, and the Gilder House. Explore the nearby Delaware River Heritage Trail and Delaware and Raritan Canal with launching points for local and regional boating, hiking, biking, canoeing, and kayaking.
