Sean A. Gallagher
Sean A. Gallagher is Principal and Director of Sustainable Design at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the designers of New York City’s High Line. He is also adjunct faculty at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and has presented his research on industrialism, urbanism, and sustainable design at national and international conferences. Sean is a Jersey City resident and board member of the Embankment Preservation Coalition, a non-profit organization that advocates to transform Jersey City’s historic Harsimus Branch rail line and its stone Embankment into a publicly accessible urban meadow and forest that helps extend the East Coast Greenway Corridor from Florida to Maine.
