Meris Westberg

Meris Westberg is an architectural conservator and historic building materials specialist living and working in New York City. She spent her early career working in paper conservation at the National Archives and then in decorative arts and preventive conservation at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. In 2021, she received her Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration on architectural conservation. She currently works for the architectural and engineering firm Wiss, Janey, Elstner & Associates as a historic preservation and building enclosures associate, is a registered Professional Member of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) and serves as a volunteer and working group member for the National Heritage Responders. In October 2023, while working as for Jablonski Building Conservation, Westberg performed conservation on the historic paint and graffiti inside the Burlington County Prison Museum.
