Anthony Jude Setaro

Anthony Jude Setaro, is a visionary historian, producer, and community advocate with deep roots in the cultural fabric of Monmouth County. Anthony is known for his dedication to preserving and reimagining the narratives of early Italian American history, bootlegging during Prohibition, and the rise of figures like Vito Genovese. He also serves on the Red Bank Historic Preservation Commission. As the creative force behind Setaro House, Anthony leads groundbreaking projects like “The Red Bank: Bootlegger Battles and the Rise of the Mafia,” a digital series chronicling the convergence of history, innovation, and storytelling. Using tools like Unreal Engine, Anthony explores untold stories from the North Jersey shore. His work extends into immersive technologies, blending AI and interactive media to bring history to life for new generations. Anthony has given lectures through the Monmouth County Library and the Red Bank Public Library and shares digital shorts uncovering local history through @setarohouse Instagram and in partnership with Ghosts on the Coast.
