Amy Curry

Amy Curry is the Executive Director of the Morris County Historical Society (MCHS), a nonprofit organization that owns and operates Acorn Hall. Amy has guided the vision for MCHS since 2012 so it continues to have forward movement and development by finding new ways for the organization to better realize its mission while also securing the funds to execute it. A Massachusetts native, Amy holds BA from The Pennsylvania State University, and a MS from Millersville University of PA. Amy has successfully grant funded and managed projects ranging from the recovery of Acorn Hall’s six acre cultural landscape, decimated by Superstorm Sandy, to the complete exterior restoration of both Acorn Hall and its carriage house, a total of $2.5 million in investments. In addition to the capital projects, Amy has overseen the exponential growth, organization, and diversification of MCHS’s membership, collections, and archives.
